My Ninja was wearing out (leaking at the base, gritty smoothies) and I was debating on the entry level Vitamix (E310), Nutribullet Rx, or the Ninja Twisti. I went with this one as I read it is quieter and the reviews seemed promising. First smoothie was better than my old Ninja but unable to compare with the others as I lack experience. I think this machine is a great compromise if you’re looking for something with daily use and you’re not ashamed to keep it out on the counter 24/7. One day (when I win the lottery), I think I’d like to invest in a fancy vitamix that can knead dough, food process, and fold my laundry. But for now, this little gadget is great!

    I read the unhappy reviews as I waited for delivery and was apprehensive. But this blender is everything I hoped for and need!

    1- It blends flaxseeds!!! This is the whole reason I paid the big price for a small blender.
    2-It fits in my tiny house!! Very important! It has to be readily available!
    3-Beautiful on my counter. Not as important but nice.
    4-Such creamy smoothies! What a difference from my last inexpensive blender!

    It was beautifully packaged and has very clear instructions. There was a learning curve as it behaves differently than others, but using the shake technique to mix things and packing it in specific ways makes it work.

    I wish:
    1- It made bigger smoothies. I’d like to make 1 liter ones.
    2- There was a lid for each drink lid. I’d like to carry both!
    3- All containers were glass

    People say it’s hard to clean. It may be it you let it dry dirty, but so far not a problem. Once I drank half of the liter container in two sessions and had to clean the top with my fingers. That was easy. When fresh it rinses right off.

    Additional review after using it for a while
    None of the containers fit in a standard drink holder ! This is a big problem for me. Not worth returning, though.
    I wish the hydration bottle held a liter.
    Cleaning after a smoothie often requires a long handle brush.
    Each drink lid needs a plug top.
    One lid should open to drink and add a straw without removing it completely.

    I think that should do it. None of these are deal breakers because it works so well!

    Overall, it's a nice well-built blender. It looks sleek (and therein lies the problem imho, as you'll see later), it is built well (feels really solid), and it blends just as I need it to.

    But...
    My problem first happened when I put the small 500 mL on. As the blender started up, it started leaking. I quickly tightened the canister further onto the blade-cap (whatever they call it). I had tightened it before I put it on the blender, but apparently not enough. All was well and it blended fine. But then came the time to remove the blade cap so that I could get to my shake. It took most all I had to get the top off, but I managed it eventually. Then came the second time I used the small canister. Same thing happened. This time I was particularly sensitive to how I tightened it before putting it on and made sure to do it very tightly. It still leaked, so I had to tighten it even more as it was blending. But after removing the blade and canister from the blender I could not, not matter how much I tried, remove the top. It took me over 15 minutes and only then with the use of two rubber kitchen gloves, to get the top off. Needless to say, I no longer use the small 500 mL container.
    I am a medium sized male with pretty good grip strength. Definitely those stronger than me, but I would say that I am stronger (in grip strength) than most women (but that is just a guess to be honest).
    I have not had the same degree of problem with the large canister. It's my belief that this is because its longer length offers greater torque.
    This is a direct result of the design decision to have the canisters inverted and placed upside down onto the blender. It looks sleek, but there's a consequence to that decision.
    I would still recommend this blender but would just caution those with limited arm and grip strength.
    Maybe this will improve over time (I have used the blender now about 8 times), but I'm not going back to the small canister. I have ordered an 800 mL canister to go with the 1000 mL canister I already have; hopefully between the two I will be fine.

    Update 06/28/2024:
    I have hated my time with this blender, but thankfully that time is up and I can throw this in the trash. Specifically, my complaints are:
    - The containers do not seal properly with the blade unit at times, and this lack of seal is not visibly apparent. That means that sometimes I would put the container, with blade assembly attached, on the blender base, start it, walk away to tend to something while it blended, only to return to find a mess everywhere as some of the the contents had been splayed around the blender.
    - The blade assembly and the containers would regularly seal so tightly that it took all my strength to untwist and separate them. On a couple of occasions I wasn't sure if I would ever be able to separate them, all while the contents inside grew warm and my schedule was delayed.

    These things happened about twice a week of daily use. As I said in my original posting, this is a sad tale of form over function. Looks great - no one can deny. But that's all this setup has is good looks. As an actual blender, it fails in most every respect.

    Potential drawbacks
    - it does 2 settings. Pulse, or the full cycle run. If you use some weird settings on your blender that might not be for you.
    - if you dont have anything frozen in your blender, maybe dont run the full cycle, seems like it would be too long.

    This was my very first blender that I have ever bought. I’ve never owned anything like this before. I was excited to try this out considering I’ve seen many ads or commercials about this product on my social media. I was skeptical, but when I blended my frozen fruits with all the ingredients for my smoothie, the blender is very powerful and you are able to either select pulse or blend for a whole minute to get less thick texture of the smoothie. I have been using it since I bought it last month and enjoy making smoothies twice a day. It literally takes only 2 minutes for me to blend everything together. I’m impressed with everything so far. It also comes with a glass bottle and infuser you can use to hold your smoothie or water. I like how compact this blender is and easily fits into small spaces if you don’t have a lot of kitchen space. It’s also easy to clean with a wet sponge and a little bit of soap.

    It’s been a year now and the blender works great! Still enjoying fresh smoothies and the power of the blender is going strong :)
