So glad I finally bought these.
Review from spouse: I got these primarily for working out. I've seen great reviews on these for months but kept ignoring them. If you're on the fence, like I was, don't be. I'm very picky when it comes to running and workout shorts. They're more comfortable than I expected. They have a brief liner which is not a make or break for me but I imagine they would make a lot of wearers feel secure. I don't have wedgies from the liner but I wear my own underwear underneath, so can't speak for everyone. These are not extremely high waisted. They naturally come up to my belly button but I do pull them up a bit more from time to time. The waist band is one big band around, not a slim band and is tight in a good way and very comfy. The fabric feels thin in a good way. At the end of my HIIT session I could see sweat mark on the waist band in the back but not down at the butt. It didn't look bad or awkward. I got Small. I'm around 5.3, decently athletic, 118-120 lbs, 27-28 waist, 35 hips.

    However the large ones look a little big now so I ordered a medium for a better fit. Boy is there a BIG difference between medium and large. The mediums were so tight around my thighs and rear. So I’m going back to the large so I can actually move in them. Would definitely recommend sizing up.
