This hat and scarf set is decent. It has the classic cable knit that looks nice with most jackets. These are made of 100% acrylic, and they are not itchy at all. These are on the thinner side, with the weave being slightly open. I placed the scarf over top of a darker fabric, and you can see the fabric through the holes. The scarf is warm enough, as it can be doubled and wrapped. The hat is ok for casual use where you are just running in & out of the cold. But it might not be warm enough for a really cold day, or an extended period of time outdoors.
