I use this to pickle my asparagus. And when I pickle my cucumbers and red onion together for a quick salad. Don't precooked the asparagus. Just chop off the "woody" ends place in a shallow dish and cover with the vinegar. Let it sit for at least 12 hrs. The vinegar breaks down the fiberius strings! A vinegar marinade for meats also tenderizes the meat, breaking down its fiberius strings. This vinegar has a somewhat sweet flavor compared to reg apple cider vinegar that is tart. It is a good value for the size of the bottle. I have always used this vinegar while cold prepping my food. I have never "cooked" with it in any form of hot methods.
