    For years I've searched for a shovel that has the same angle between the digging blade and the handle of a shovel I grew up with. To me the angle is closer to 80° than the usual ~60° that is used by most manufacturers; this shovel meets my requirements, 'in spades.' We completely wore my dad's out, we wore 4 inches of steel off it turning over gardens, ditches, and graves in; Scotland, England, the Philippines, Germany, Japan, and of course the United States. This shovel has a nice long fiberglass handle with well positioned and cushioned grips. Highly recommend.
