I am a Free People fanatic, just not in love with the price lol! In my search to find the horseshoe jeans, I searched high and low and almost pulled the trigger on my Free People app, but found these! I was skeptical at first because the reviews said shipping took forever, there was a smell etc….
So, okay…shipping was longer than I would have liked, especially in a day where Amazon delivers same day, Free People, Nordys, Bloomies etc gets it to you curbside or mail within a day or two, but for over 1/2 less the price, I told myself I could be patient.
They finally arrive after about 2.5 weeks and first thing I notice is, yes, a chemically smell. Not horrendous, but a smell nonetheless. i am hoping a quick wash will do the trick:)
Now, the jeans! Soooooo soft, the distressing is perfect and the color is as well (i got the distressed light blue). I usually wear a 10/12 but wanted a little them baggy to accentuate the horseshoe look so I sized up 1 size. (Note: I actually could have gotten my regular size in these and been fine). They are adorable!!!! I cannot wait to wear them. Oh, btw- i am told I am short (5’4”) so the jeans do come below my ankle - I imagine on the tall girls, they may come slightly above the ankle..idk. I actually like that they hit where they do because for me, if it came to the ankle, I think it would make me look shorter and the pants boxer/wider- making them not as cute on me because I have a small waist and wider hips. Anyway…if you dont wanna spend all your coins on Citizens of Humanity or Free People barrel jeans, save your hard earned paper, grab some of these dupes instead! You will not be disappointed!!!!
