I ordered these marble coasters to replace an old set that had seen the end of life (different company). Knowing the size of these, I was hoping to use the old holder, but it was a tiny bit too small. The measurements of these coasters were accurate, but they didn't fit in the old holder I had. I kept these because they were too beautiful to send back. These are worth every penny! Size was true to measurements on the website, 1/2 inch thick, heavy. I'm using a couple to go under battery operated candles. I keep one in my home office for drinks since it will stay put. I don't want to use them for everyday coasters since they are heavy and the grandson might drop one and break something. I will buy from this company again. Packaging was great, nothing broke in transit, arrived quickly.
