Disgusted With This Expensive Gift
I bought this set as a Christmas gift for my daughter and son in law. It was NOT cheap and was supposed to be their big gift. Several of the lids of the jars are discolored, RUSTED looking. At first i thought it was some kind of spice residue but its not. This was described as being a single gifting box of 12 spices. Instead it is 2 boxes of 6. I am also unsure of the expiration dates as some are 1 year away. I believe this is old stock.

    I absolutely love Burlap and Barrel's Royal Cinnamon so I had high hopes for the 3 pack gift set. The Black Lime is tasty, great in a corn or pepper salad or as part if a marinade. I don't detect any major differences between the Purple Stripe Garlic and the average jar of garlic powder - it's fine but nothing special. As other reviewers have mentioned, it would be helpful if the holes in the jar were a bit smaller, as it's far too easy to accidentally dump out more product than needed.
