Insoles, Insoles, Insoles…
When did shoe manufacturers decide that women did not need a soft cushy insole to cradle their weary feet? These shoes get points off for having an insole that feels like an old tire instead of a cloud. We have the technology to make memory foam and yet…shoe makers refuse to use it. So size up a 1/2 size if you want to add an insole. I wish I had. Also, my delicate ankles feel the rub on the sides, which hopefully will loosen up over time. For now, to prevent ankle blisters, I had to add moleskin to the interior ankle area.On the plus side:I ordered several ankle boots that were waterproof-ish and these got to stay because their tread is made of actual rubber, not plastic…so I don’t go sliding on my a$$ on slick, marbled, museum stairs! Also, bonus points for being cute as H-E-Double hockey sticks! I have worn these out only 3 times in rainy weather and people on street corners are stopping me to tell me how much they love my shoes. They really take your “janky jeans look” up a notch with their sheer cuteness power. If you hate when strangers tell you how fabulous you look, these are not for you. If you need the validation…get these and get some soft insoles!

I only wore them twice and they are becoming discolored at the ankle part and when it sprinkled outside the raindrop marks never went way the shoes are completely dry in the picture. Very unhappy with this purchase since these shoes were almost a hundred dollars.
