    Updated Review 7-19-20
Paid for a new scale, and was shipped an obviously used device.*****Update 7/19/2020****Originally I gave the unit 1 star because the unit that I received was obviously used and no attempt was made to clean the device (I'm actually happy it wasn't with all that is going on) before it was shipped to me. I left the above review which was pretty short and straight to the point as I refused to even try to use the device.Eufy quickly contacted me and advised that since the scale ships from an Amazon warehouse they unfortunately had no control over the inventory, and checking the quality of returns. While understandable I advised this was not something the customer should have to deal with, and at the end of the day it's a product sold by them so they should be responsible. They agreed, and said they would ship another unit out to me and offered a slight discount which I was fine with accepting. On to the product. The scale works exactly as advertised. I came from a Fitbit Aria (version 1 I believe) which after the last update had issues connecting to my wifi, and generally was not powering on like it should. The WiFi issue swayed me towards a less connected unit which is what made me try the Eufy which still connects via Bluetooth if you want. I can say I've had no issues with the scale turning on, and overall it seems pretty accurate. I've seen a review or 2 that says it's not as accurate as some other scales, and to this I honestly can't give an opinion. What I can say though is that it is very consistent. I've weighed myself multiple times in a row to see if it changes up slightly and every time it has been the same. So you can at least know that it will calculate your weight the same way every time, and if it is off by half a pound or so compared to others it will be that same half pound off at no matter what your weight. If you need something that's completely accurate because you are in a competition and have to weigh a certain amount you should probably be looking at a more expensive scale from the jump.If you do decide to connect the scale to the Eufy app on your phone it gives you the many features above, and they all seem to be pretty consistent as well. As far as how helpful they are I couldn't say since the main thing I cared about what having my weight tracked. It does store several weigh-ins if you don't have your phone with you and the app open at the time you weigh yourself, so you can be confident that all of that will sync the next time you have the app open.As far as multiple users I haven't tried it yet as my wife doesn't really care to track her weight in an app, but I do think the only complaint I have is how Eufy handles that. You basically have to share the app with family members and I believe it will sync when they weigh themselves and sync with their phone. As I've stated I haven't actually tried it so take that anecdotally . I can say that it doesn't include her weight in my syncs, so I do have confidence that it works as stated.Overall I am very happy with the unit, and probably even more so with Eufy's customer service. I am pretty confident that if I have any issues and reach out to them they will be happy to help in a timely manner. I can and will confidently recommend the product to my family, friends, and anyone reading this review. One pro-tip if you're using an Android device is to allow the location settings for the Eufy app all of the time. From my research Eufy doesn't actually collect any of this data, but it is a limitation of Android's bluetooth capability and if you don't you may have issues syncing your scale after the initial setup. I believe the first time I set it up I chose the "only while app is open" option, and it initially worked but I had trouble getting it to connect consistently after that. Being in IT I did a little digging, and decided to reinstall the app and set that option to all the time and I haven't had an issue since then. I'm not deducting any points\stars from Eufy for this as I'm pretty sure it's a common issue for us Android users and the Bluetooth stack used in some of our devices.

I love the simplicity and functionality of this scale. The ease of setup and use is just remarkable - you're up and running in no time. What caught my eye immediately was the large and clear LED display. It's easy to read and gives you all the information you need swiftly. Highly recommended if you're after a stress-free, easy to use product.

I compared this scale to the one at my doctor's office and it comes very close. I feel better knowing I'm getting a pretty accurate measurement.

I used to have a Fitbit Aria 2; which gave similar body composition readings as I got from my gym and doctor's office. Long story short, I don't have it anymore.

However, I'm trying to lose a significant amount of weight while maintaining lean body mass. I also wanted to continue tracking my progress on my phone using the Fitbit app. However, I couldn't afford another Fitbit Aria 2. After reading the reviews of several apps, I opted for this Eufy scale. It's been about 2 months since I started using it.

To my surprise, the body composition numbers were all within 2.5% of the Fitbit Aria numbers after 3 weeks of not having access to the Aria! (In other words, a part of the 2.5% variation was likely due to changes in my body as I continued exercising and losing weight)

Because the Eufy app syncs data with the Fitbit app and because the numbers are so identical, it makes analysis of my fitness trends seamless with the new scale.

I'm 6'6" and started using this scale at 355lbs. I never worried about the build quality not being able to hold up to my size. My only concern is that the scale is a little smaller than I would like (my toes hang off the edge), but I'm 6'6" and have size 13 feet... so this may or may not be a problem for you.

I was going to use this Eufy scale as a stop gap until I could afford a new Aria, but I'm happy enough to keep this for the life of the scale.

Regarding the app, it is easy to use. Just make sure you have it open and with Bluetooth enabled on your phone while you weight yourself. My only complaint is that the scale won't sync directly to the Fitbit app. The Eufy app feels extremely redundant since it shows all the same data that is displayed in Fitbit. (I hate unnecessary apps) I suspect this likely has more to do with Fitbit not wanting to play nice since they have their own scales more than Eufy wanting to collect my fitness information. Still, I thought I'd bring it up.

None of this is enough for me to knock it down a star. This is an absolute GREAT value!

I purchased this device in 2020, and it has proven to be a dependable investment that stands the test of time.

Durable Performance: After several years of regular use, it’s still going strong with no noticeable drop in functionality.

App Connectivity: I love that it connects seamlessly to an app on my phone. This feature adds convenience and makes it easy to monitor and control remotely.

User-Friendly: The setup and operation are straightforward, even for someone who isn’t tech-savvy.

Good Value: Considering how long it’s lasted without any issues, it feels like excellent value for the price.

If you’re looking for a durable device that integrates well with your phone, this one fits the bill perfectly. It’s a reliable and worthwhile purchase!
