I purchased this to provide shading over my dogs kennel. It works beautifully and is easily secured with bungee straps. It fits nicely with enough overhang to protect my dogs water and food bowls from the heat and rain. It appears very durable and for the price it does exactly what I need it to do. It provides shade really well.

A lightweight, woven tarp
This is an interesting tarp. The grommets look solid, and the tarp itself is very lightweight and easy to handle. If you look at the third photo, you can see my hand through the tarp. You can also see that it is woven HPDE (high density polyethylene) plastic, such as what plastic water bottles are made of (but this is not recycled plastic). The weave makes the tarp light and easy to move around. Of course, this tarp is meant to provide shade and is definitely not waterproof (nor is it intended to be). This is an interesting product that we have not ever seen before, and I'm curious as to how it will hold up over time.
