Locks in odors, works with regular garbage bags, and is easy to use. The lock feature is great, however, my toddlers have figured out how to lock/unlock the pail. It has not dented but is kept in a location where it most likely would not dent. Easy enough to clean.

Incredibly sturdy!!

Contains the odors -and I tested with toddler diapers, in our living room, no one could smell it.

Locking features- keeps out babies /toddlers.

No special bag needed - currently using Amazon brand 13 gallon trash bags.

Other diaper pails stink, or require special bags that will cost you $15 every 2 months & that’s if you don’t go through a ton of diapers. Over time, you’ll have spent $60+ up front on those brands, plus in just 2 years you’ll have spent $180 in bags. Total waste.

Love the ubbi. We had it gifted to us for our first, but someone well meaning washed it with water causing rust & it no longer trapped odors. Tragically we let it go & instead used outside trash cans or other diaper pails from FB marketplace. No questions asked this is the best purchase I’ll have made before baby 6 arrives this year.

All I can say is whoever manufactured this item was a genius. I don't have a baby, but I do have an incontinence problem, and I just received this item yesterday and can't believe how much I love it. It holds a large amount of trash while still being slim and compact for small spaces. The odor is also contained very well. I love that it takes any regular trash bags, thereby saving money. The only downside to this pail is that the sliding lid is difficult to open and close, especially when you're in the middle of a diaper change. It requires force to actually slide it open with your hand or knee. If it was a lid that opened with a foot pedal that would have been much easier.

This pail is worth every penny. We had one for our first and were always amazed at how well it contained smells even when packed full. It also holds a lot. Wish we had kept ours to avoid having to buy another one six years later but here we are. Got the cream this time around which looks nice (as much as a diaper pail can look nice). Friends have purchased less expensive pails that reek which we really wanted to avoid. We normally skip the specialized bags (dual simplehuman garbage can bags for example) but the bags that go with this are worth it - they fit perfectly and are really sturdy.

Been using this for 2 months now so feel confident to review this. I was hesitant to purchase it at first because of the price for "Just a bin" but I couldn't be happier. It's sturdy and easy to use one handed. Sliding mechanism for the lid works well, and the main opening lid is a nice firm fit to keep everything contained. I never smell it despite sleeping the the nursery room with it!

Perfect that you can use your own bags, just a standard 35l pedal bin liner from the supermarket is all you need.

Fits a good amount of nappies before you need to empty it, I find I change the bag every 2-3 days, but of course every baby is different.

One off investment for years of happy use for each child.
