    I have used day planners most of my adult life. If you are committed to them, by always putting in appointments and then looking at them, it makes your life a lot easier. I saw this planner and asked Amazon to review it. Both my wife and I have day planners. When we are not together it’s a crapshoot when planning things were we both have to attend. More than once I have had to call someone back and say we couldn’t make it. This magnetic calendar can solve that problem, but everyone has to first keep their schedule updated and second, be home to see it. The solution to the second problem is to take a picture of the schedule in the morning before leaving home. It works but you need to make it habit. I really like how they put this planner together. They give you 4 different colors of marking pens. See photo (the picture makes the marks look bigger than they are). That way my wife gets a color and I get a color. The marking pens are magnetic, so they stick to the refrigerator. Those magnets could have been a little stronger, but they are okay. When one starts running out of marking fluid, you can find a lot of magnetic markers on Amazon. The set comes with a monthly planner and a daily planner. They both have strong magnets that hold them solidly onto the refrigerator. In all likelihood I will just use the monthly planner. I could see occasionally using the day planner, but not much. I will use it for messages like when my wife is not home and leaving a message where I'm going.. At the end of the month you erase everything on the calendar and start again. I would recommend before you erase the data you take a picture of the calendar. It is a simple and good way to keep a record of your month’s activities. I am sure there are calendar apps out there that would integrate my schedule with my wife’s. I don’t want to do that. She has a lot of stuff I don’t want to see, and I am sure I have things she doesn’t want to see. I really like this monthly planners as one of the best solutions to managing 2 or more persons’ schedules. If it were just me, I probably wouldn’t use it. My phone app works great for one person. However, if it were just me, I would probably use the day planner more to remind me of the things I needed to do.

      This product will not adhere to a stainless steel refrigerator. We ended up having to use ours on a separate magnetic surface. Also, our fridge is black stainless which made it nearly impossible to see the print on the calendar. Provided you don't have a dark stainless refrigerator, the product itself is well done. It has plenty of space to write notes, a large calendar to note family events, and a modern finish and style.

      Larger than what I expected but that is not a bad thing. I have a sided-by-side fridge and it covers one side of the fridge, easy to put up and the markers have magnets so they stick to the fridge as well. I like the item but I do still use a regular calendar.

      I have been using a double month calendar for years and that it the only part I with this was also. But it allows me to have important days and appointments marked out for all family members to see and is easy to write on and clean.
