If you, like me, are in your middle-aged lady linen era, this is a great piece to have as part of the lineup. I love having a "third piece" that can still be worn in hot weather when a jean jacket is too heavy and a button down feels too dressy. I ordered ivory, and the vest is exactly the color I was expecting to receive. The fabric is an attractive linen/cotton blend that feels like it will wear well, breathes just fine even with the cotton lining, and has enough slubs to leave the vest feeling suitably casual for shorts. It can also be worn by itself in lieu of a tank top, or dressed up with other pieces if that's what you're looking for. I'm short waisted and ample-busted(42H) and the 3X fit me well at the bust with a little extra room at the waist. I did have to pin the space between the two top buttons, a snap or button to the reverse side of the fabric would have been nice there. The price ($49 as of my order) feels very fair for the quality of material and workmanship, as there are no loose threads or irregular seams.

I really wanted to love this top - it's so trendy and cool! However, it is too short of a length to be very flattering, has a boxy/wide cut, and the material is really stiff so there's not a lot of forgiveness to it. I ordered a 3X (which is a size 24-26) but I typically wear a 1X or 2X in other brands (I have a 42DD bust), and that was definitely the right size to get - otherwise the buttons would gap too much in the chest. I followed the inch measurements on the size chart, which was the right move.

So I'd recommend sizing UP if you're between sizes, and know that you're going to get a fairly boxy/wide cut so if you'd prefer something with more of a feminine look, this probably isn't it.

Slightly loose fit and very comfortable. Can be worn alone or over a shirt. Vest is slightly cropped, but not super short- I love the length. True to size, I’m 5’5” and 130 and ordered medium. Will look great with jeans or shorts.

I really like shoes that I have gotten from this brand, so I was looking forward to this when I saw it in the clothing category. I thought it was a vest and shorts set because it was pictured with short, but apparently it is just the Vest. At $49, it seems a bit steep for just a linen vest, I thought I was getting a whole outfit. My bad for not reading it clearly enough. The vest is nice though, I got the white linen color and it is fully lined front and back so that you don’t see through it. On the inside, it also has a spare button sewn in it is a fabric covered button, this is a nice touch.

This linen vest is just what I was looking for. I like how it fits and it is true to size. Very nice fabric linen/cotton blend. Very good quality and well made. The only thing that I would like to point out is the color it's not as intense as I was expecting. It's like a slightly washed black color, but I still love it and I will continue wearing.

Cute buttons and the double-hemmed lining is sweet. A bit expensive for a vest, but it is well-made and linen. I think it could be slightly longer and I wish I got my size instead of sizing up (I got a medium). It would probably look the right length if everything was smaller. I also think it could be either more boxy or more cinched; it’s sort of in-between for my taste. Overall I think the craftsmanship and fabric make it a worthy purchase for someone after a classic look.

I have been on the lookout for a white vest that isn't cut to incredibly low that I can wear without a shirt under it but I also wanted it to be a bit more fitted. Every time what I think of as the perfect vest, it's out of stock in white. Grrrr! This is not exactly what I had in mind but I really like it. The linen is a nice fabric and since I sized down, it's actually fitted. I'm so excited to wear it for the first time!

I am 5'7, 138lbs and this vest is a little baggy, and I ordered the small. It fits pretty well but the underarm holes are a little big for me. I like the linen material and it feels like high quality.
