I really like shoes that I have gotten from this brand, so I was looking forward to this when I saw it in the clothing category. I thought it was a vest and shorts set because it was pictured with short, but apparently it is just the Vest. At $49, it seems a bit steep for just a linen vest, I thought I was getting a whole outfit. My bad for not reading it clearly enough. The vest is nice though, I got the white linen color and it is fully lined front and back so that you don’t see through it. On the inside, it also has a spare button sewn in it is a fabric covered button, this is a nice touch.

    Cute vest but I chose the wrong color. The green is not flattering on yellow skin tone. I do love that the material is linen and cotton and it feels well made with a nice thickness.

    This vest is a classy and high-quality piece, perfect for layering or wearing on its own. The linen fabric feels durable, and the design gives off a chic, sophisticated vibe. However, even though I ordered an XXS, it runs a bit large, and the fit is looser than expected. For reference, I'm 32 bust, 29 waist, 115lbs. I would suggest sizing down if you want a more fitted look. Overall, it’s a beautiful vest with good quality, but the sizing could be more true to size for a more tailored fit.

    This vest is really well made and the color is beautiful. But I found it too short and too wide. I generally like a boxy look, but i got it to go with the matching shorts and there was a huge gap between the bottom of the vest and the top of the shorts. Not exactly the look I was going for. I am pretty long waisted, so your mileage may vary. But, for me at least, it was a "no."

    If you, like me, are in your middle-aged lady linen era, this is a great piece to have as part of the lineup. I love having a "third piece" that can still be worn in hot weather when a jean jacket is too heavy and a button down feels too dressy. I ordered ivory, and the vest is exactly the color I was expecting to receive. The fabric is an attractive linen/cotton blend that feels like it will wear well, breathes just fine even with the cotton lining, and has enough slubs to leave the vest feeling suitably casual for shorts. It can also be worn by itself in lieu of a tank top, or dressed up with other pieces if that's what you're looking for. I'm short waisted and ample-busted(42H) and the 3X fit me well at the bust with a little extra room at the waist. I did have to pin the space between the two top buttons, a snap or button to the reverse side of the fabric would have been nice there. The price ($49 as of my order) feels very fair for the quality of material and workmanship, as there are no loose threads or irregular seams.
