    All I can say is that this brand is the BEST. First off, it looks like a statement piece, like a high end appliance, with a finish like a kitchen aid mixer. I got the white color since it goes with everything. There really aren’t any plastic pieces everywhere like the other one’s entire body. To put the gas cylinder in, you just insert it in the hole in the bottom of the unit and screw it in. Super easy. You don’t have to angle it in or something else stupid. The only drawback at all I would say is that the unit isn’t well weighted, not even with the cylinder in. It stands just fine and functions perfectly without having to hold the machine but I just wish there was more of a weighted bottom to be extra sturdy. Finally, the bottle it very chique, not like the other ones at ALL, BUT the other brand of bottles DO FIT PERFECTLY! Pay attention to the expiration dates on the bottle since it could be dangerous otherwise. I would never buy the other one again, ever. The carbonation is even better. Get a few new gas cylinders from the store so you will never run out and you can just exchange the cylinders.

    Let’s face it, flat water is a cornerstone to life. You need it to exist. Unfortunately, it is flavorless, flat, and just all around boring to drink. Carbonated water is just better. It's like flat water's way cooler and more fun sibling. It makes you want to drink water. But all those cans and bottles are so bad for the environment and your friends look at you like a neanderthal for going through recycling bin after bin of empties when all you're trying to do is be healthier.

    Enter the Aarke Carbonator Premium. This thing hits on all the points:
    1) You get to drink water that you enjoy
    2) It's basically a functional work of art and you will love to have it displayed in your kitchen, unlike the clunky plastic shells used by SodaStream. (Full disclosure, I've used SodaStreams for YEARS and it was my #1 purchase in 2012), but they break. There, I said it.
    3) It is pricy, but it works exceptionally well and is very solidly built.
    4) When you upgrade, all the SodaStream bottles (water and co2) work with it.
    5) C'mon, look at it. If you're reading this, you already want it, and you just want someone to say it's a good idea. Let me say it right now. Buy it. You won't be disappointed.

    The AARKE has a two year warranty. I'm starting to wonder if their customer service team will respond to us before it runs out. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. The unit looks nice, sure, but you are better off with another brand. Worst customer service experience in my life dealing with AARKE. DO NOT BUY.

    The machine worked well as any other device for about three months until it abruptly broke. Did some troubleshooting using AARKE's recommended fixes to no avail. AARKE advertises their warranty as a selling point and their website states that "we are committed to ensure our products are at their best." Let me tell you this is not the case.

    Processed a customer support ticket on their website and they just...ghosted us. Seriously, for two whole months they did not respond at all. We sent in multiple tickets. FINALLY, my wife gets an email from them stating that they switched the company that they use to process and respond to their customer support claims. OK, I guess that explains the radio silence, but some communication in the interim would have been nice.

    I'd love to tell you that once we got in contact with this new company, they were able to process an exchange for a working unit. Unfortunately, that did not happen. They asked us to send in a bunch of information about our unit so they can process the claim and make sure it was legit. We had to send in all of the typical information (model number, etc.) and also a bunch of pictures that they made us take of the unit from all angles. That was about a month and a half ago - no follow-up from the company since that time. We've attempted to contact them several times since then, they have simply stopped responding. I really would recommend not buying anything from AARKE; if you run into an issue with your unit, you are just out of luck.

    I drink quite a lot of carbonated water
    But recently have been having trouble getting it from certain supermarkets
    This finally prompted me to research various machine's

    I decided to pull the trigger on the aarke
    I'm so glad I did
    The build quality is excellent
    It's easy to use
    Ok it's a bit more expensive than the other plastic versions
    You get what you pay for in my opinion
    It will take a good few months to pay for itself
    But I love it
    And als I'm doing my little bit for the environment as the single use plastic bottles I'm not using anymore.
    All in all if you drink a lot of carbon water drinks
    It's a no brainer
    It also looks good on my kitchen worktop

    It’s actually made me drink way more water. If you love sparking water then this is for you. Only thing is the co2 bottles are €30. You get €10 when you return an empty but it’s still kinda expensive. This product is great though.
