Pros: I've had these brushes for a month now and I love them. They are definately sable brushes, glide well on paper, hold a lot paint and water in their belly and feel solid to hold. I have not seen much of shredding, except for the first couple of uses. Mine has a few unruly stray hairs, but when wet they come together and hold well, so that did not bother me. They screw well and their construction is great. I have had no problems with screwing and unscrewing the caps and they fit both ends well and snug. They felt heavy to hold initially, but I am used to them now. If you prefer lightweight brushes, these may not be for you. I love that they are easy to carry on for travel. For this price point, these brushes are exceptional and I highly recommend them! Will be buying more of these as spares.
Pros: Sable brushes, good value for money, good water retention, metal construction, snug fit of caps, screws mechanism works great, feels sturdy and well made, nice variety of sizes, drain hole at cap ends for ventilation, comes with travel pouch, overall good quality.
Cons: Heavier to hold, if that concerns you. The brush size 12 is comparable to size 10 of another brand, so is brush size 8 to 6 and brush 4 is to 2.

Great water control
These are definitely kolinsky sable brushes but the craftsmanship is lacking. Pros: they retain water/pigment really well. As good as my escoda. They are travel brushes so they will be protected with the screw on cap Beautiful to hold. Comes with leather case. Cons: they lose hair like crazy. I a found a bunch of hairs coming out of the ferrels while i was painting. My Escodas have never ever done that. Neither has my series 7. They dont come to a point while i am painting like my series 7 or escodas. They have a bunch of uneven hairs. Often one will stick out more than the rest. Would i buy them again? Definitely yes, these are the same price as one small kolinsky brush from a European country. Though the craftsmanship isnt there i think they are a great value. If they fixed the issue with the hairs and had no uneven hairs i am sure they would charge much more. I attached a picture of my Escoda and these brushes and u can immediately tell the difference in the point. Losing hairs is annoying so im sure they will not last. My escodas and series 7 are about 3 to 4 years old so they last A LONG time.
