I love the dark shade
I like that the shade on this is very dark - since I have it sitting on my desk, I didn't want the light glaring into my eyes while I'm working. The wood matches my desk, and the dimming is nice. I had it heating up a candle with a bad wick that I've never been able to effectively burn and it did a wonderful job.

I really loved how nice this candle warmer lamp looked but the one I received had a big scratch on the lampshade on one side and a few scratches on the other side. The bottom of the base was also uneven so the lamp was not sitting flat on the table. The lamp worked great besides these issues and I loved that the light was dimmable and I could control the strength of the heat lamp. It also came fully assembled and had an extra bulb which I really appreciated. If the lampshade didn't have scratches on it and the base was flat, then I would be giving this a 4-5 star rating.
