    So initially my son was very excited for this. I had hoped it would give him hours of fun as he is home for the summer. Unfortunately he was able to easily excavate it in two minutes and said it didn't feel like much of a challenge. Also, he voiced the desire to be surprised by what dinosaur was in each egg. Though he obviously doesn't know what dinosaur is in the particular egg he is excavating he said he wished they wouldn't have shown all the dinosaurs on the box. I do like the amount of eggs you get for the price, but wish it would have been a little tougher to get to the dinosaur. Also, I was surprised there wasn't a wooden mallet included in the kit to chip away at the dirt. There is just a chisel and paint brush and so I think that made a little less enjoyable. The concept is cool though and the dinosaurs are pretty nice. A bit small but I'm sure he will enjoy playing with them.
