I followed the directions and cleaner seems to have worked effectively. One word of warning however. You need to run your disposal until all the foam is gone. My disposal overheated and shut off. Fingers crossed there is a reset button on the disposal. Update, after the disposal cooled down, I found the reset button and it was fine. Just be aware that the disposal does need to run for awhile during the cleaning process, and it can overheat which turns off the disposal.

These tablets did a good job on our disposal. Naturally, food residue can turn into sticky "gunk" in your disposal, especially on the rubber gasket that keeps the splashes of grinding food contained. There can also be a funky smell that develops if you don't rinse your sink with hot water. Being able to have a foaming aid like this to freshen up the whole sink / disposal / pipes area is very helpful to have a better experience in the kitchen.

I used two tablets for the first time cleaning. The instructions say after that you can use one a month to keep the clean going. So far, so good at our home. The foaming action and citrus scent was very pronounced, which provided a positive experience during use.

Recently, we realized that our kitchen sink disposal was starting to smell a bit off. Recalling how well the other Active product had worked, we tried this disposal cleaner today—and wow, did it deliver! Not only did it work, but it was fun to watch the foam in action.

The box includes clear, well-illustrated directions, plus a QR code you can scan for online instructions and videos. Honestly, it's the perfect setup! Some products don’t include directions at all, which can be pretty frustrating. Not Active! I really appreciate that they understand not everyone has their phone handy when tackling cleaning tasks. Including clear, printed directions on the box is a super thoughtful touch.

Recently, we realized that our kitchen sink disposal was starting to smell a bit off. Recalling how well the other Active product had worked, we tried this disposal cleaner today—and wow, did it deliver! Not only did it work, but it was fun to watch the foam in action.

The box includes clear, well-illustrated directions, plus a QR code you can scan for online instructions and videos. Honestly, it's the perfect setup! Some products don’t include directions at all, which can be pretty frustrating. Not Active! I really appreciate that they understand not everyone has their phone handy when tackling cleaning tasks. Including clear, printed directions on the box is a super thoughtful touch.

Overall, I really appreciate the quality of the product, the thoughtful packaging (the box is sturdy, and each tablet is individually wrapped for freshness and easy to open), and the company itself. Fantastic product!

Pro-tip (something I just learned today!): This company has a LOT of cool products—coffee maker cleaner, ice machine cleaner...tons of things you know you should be cleaning (yes, you!) but probably aren’t. Definitely worth buying. It did what I needed it to: clean the garbage disposal and leave it smelling pleasant. And I like the smell of citrus so this product worked well for me. The tablets aren't large, about the size of a half dollar, and they work quickly. I like that this package is a year's supply. I would recommend and buy again.

Used this on my garburator yesterday and was super happy with it. Super easy to use. I also bought the washing machine pods and the dishwasher pods. I also tried the washing machine ones yesterday and worked well. Haven’t tried the dishwasher so can’t comment on that. For the cost and and how many you get it’s a very good deal.
