Good product, packaged terribly
I don't live near a Trader Joe's anymore but love their fig butter, especially during the fall, so thought I would risk getting it via Amazon in spite of others' bad experiences. Not my best idea. It arrived in a box too big, wrapped in a single layer of bubble wrap. The box itself was fine, and the jar wasn't broken, but it must have rolled around enough in transit to pop the safety seal. The leak was contained inside the bubble wrap, but it was still a sad, inedible mess (I have no idea when that seal popped). Unless they start packing it with more cushioning (it's a GLASS JAR), this is not a good way to get fig butter.
