Update to previous review from June: I like the product. I have them mixed in with the larger plants and makes a stunning visual display. But now 3 sets of lights have died. One set didn’t work upon arrival & have checked the battery, turned the on/off switch one way; turned it the other way the next night. Now 2 sets have died after 10 weeks - even though they were in sunny locations. Moved them to even sunnier location - no joy. Batteries can’t be replaced. Have no faith that the other 3 will last much longer. Not worth the price.

Nice accent to our garden
Such a neat little product. We were inspired to look into “firefly” lights after some neighbors had purchased some and stumbled across these. They have two modes you can choose from, but we went with solid and always on. The solar seems to charge up well and the sensor is honestly larger than I expected. The big sensor can be a little gaudy looking during the day, but it becomes invisible at night. These also operate on a light sensor, so they’ve consistently turned on once the sun drops below the mountains here in Colorado. You can spread out the bulbs pretty easily and it doesn’t feel like the strands would break unless you get really aggressive. We did notice that if you try to spread them too wide, then the base where all the wires join up tends to pop out of the holder. Not a big deal for function but worth noting as there’s a limit of how far you should try to flex the bulbs. The ultimate test of any decoration is always the “wife test” and she has asked me to order another set so that we can compliment more of our yard. If that’s not a win for the product, I don’t know what is! I tried to post realistic photos of the brightness these give off. They are by no means going to light up your yard, but they’ll give off a nice ambiance. Getting 6 for this price seems like a great overall deal. If this is something you were considering for an accent to put in your yard, I’d say go for it!
