We washed them twice as some recommended, to get the maximum softness. My wife loves the set. I do not like the clinging, almost like clothes static, in the winter. Its me. I guess I prefer the cotton feeling. It does perform very well, absorbs tons of water, no smell, and the hook is great. Light and soft. The towel size are as advertized.
