- Reviewed in the United States on May 29, 2024Color: Silver Case w/ White BandStyle: TrackerVerified PurchaseI use to have the fitbit 3 se and loved it for 3 years and i tried the samsung 4 for all the bells and whistles but the charge lasted a day which to me is counterproductive. I decided to go back to my fitbit since I also enjoyed the platform more for recording all my data such as food ect. I missed the barcode feature when putting in your meals. I use mine more strictly for steps, 24 heart rate, sleep analysis, contactless payments and tracking all my workouts. I'm not a runner anymore so I haven't used the built in GPS but based on technical reviews I didn't miss out. It's a fairly new concept which needs more software updates to be fully functional and not drain the battery life to oblivion. My fitbit actually lasts me a little over 8 days this is with turning the always on display off, txt message notifications off ( I don't see a need for this since I'm not one to utilize too many short message replies). And having the display brightness set to dim and even in full sun I can still see the display very crisply. The contactless payments uses Google pay which if you are already an android user with a Google pay wallet set up was easy and I like that for security reasons it only is set for 24 hour use after putting in your 4 digit code before having to reinput your code. Now the code input is trivial to me I don't like the setup for it. The water resistance is good I haven't showered with the device but the waterlock works well when I wash my hands multiple times a day being a nurse. I have not tested it swimming for the 50 meter water resistance claim. The workout options have improved with more options and now I'm able keep track of my active zone minutes. The heart rate tracking during exercises is said to be more accurate than the charge 5 based on tech data analysis reviews that I researched before hand. The downside is Spotify was removed and replaces with YouTube music in which you will need a subscription for. The 1.4 inch amoled size is perfect if you aren't a huge fan of having a bulky tracker on your wrist. You also now have the option of syncing your device with other heart rate monitoring equipment/workout machines including peloton but for me isn't useful. It has a haptic side button now that was seen in older models which i prefer. Another great feature is the addition of Google maps for those are are runners but again you may compromise the battery life. Since Google bought fitbit there will be more Google geared software. For more health features you now have the eda and ecd scan no BP monitor like on my samsung 4 to my knowledge has pased fda as of yet. You also have a skin temperature sensor like in the fitbit sense how accurate I'm unsure it would need to be tested against something like a NTC thermistor. The sleep analysis data seems overall accurate. I also do use a cpap machine. Overall for the price I think it's a more than suitable tracking device with its more updated hr monitoring compared to other apple watches, garmins and huawei. Still room for improvement such as the built in GPS. I think the GPS should just be mirrored on your phone which is still an option on the charge 6 you can chose dynamic, built in or phone. I would stick with phone to preserve battery but in all I recommend this product.

I wanted to waited for 2 weeks before I did this review. So I had time to use it. It does keep a long charge. Almost a whole week before you have to recharge it. It does have its own charger, magnetic.. so it is not universal.
It is not just good for the young, but also for the aging also..You need to track when your getting older. Besides steps. You can set your goals instead of somebody setting them for you, that are unreasonable. It even gives you rewards like badges. For reaching certain goals.
You are not able to put a personal face on the watch. But they have SEVERAL that you can customize what's important to you, when you see your watch. There is no extra cost for changing it either. And you don't have to pay for their premium to really get a lot of benefits from the watch.
I did not buy it for hardcore exercise for like the young have. So I don't see the advantage of the premium package.
I have small wrists, and it adjusts for that. It's very light and it fits very comfortably.
There are some youtube videos to help you with the watch settings. I would suggest you using them. It makes it very easy to use then and not so complicated.
I have seen no problem with the accuracy, and I feel that it is very dependable. I would definitely recommend this watch. Sometimes you just need to get them brand names to get the good stuff.
Like anything it really needs to be cleaned regularly, because it does touch your wrist and you don't take it off very often. I only take mine off to charge and to shower. If you don't take care of it, watch wiping down yhe back side AND the band in the back of it, it can cause some skin breakdown. I switched mine from one wrist to the next when I sleep to give my wrist a break.
Enjoy it lot of technology and answers in one little watch.

Color: Silver Case w/ White BandStyle: TrackerVerified PurchaseThe media could not be loaded.
1) It holds a charge for a lot longer compared to any watch. I need to charge it only every 7 days or so (depending on which features you keep active) Compared to an Apple Watch that needs charging pretty much every day.
2) And it charges back up quickly. Less 1.5 hours and you’re good to go for another 7 days.
3) Its size. It is not bulky. I find the watches to feel a bit chunky on me. This is small and comfortable enough that I quickly came to not noticing that I am wearing it. I can sleep with it comfortably (and that’s important for me as tracking my sleep is important to me)
And it just looks more discrete on my arm.
4) It gives me a lot of health information and easily tracks my running and other fitness without going overboard. Personally I do not need the extent of detail you would find with something like the Garmin.
5) It is very user friendly. You don’t need to be a super techy to operate. It’s easy to sync with your phone right out of the box. Then I watched a couple great YouTube videos on the basics to learn even more about all the functions and features.
The more I use this the more I like it. It has definitely helped me improved my health. I’ve learnt variables that affect my health that I didn’t know about.
I’ve not yet signed up for the free six months of the premium membership because I wanted to see what I get without it. You get loads without it!
I won’t go in to all the functions here but take a look at them and see if it gives you what you want. If so, then I would definitely recommend this Charge 6.
I find all the functions work well. I’ve not had any problems with any of them. Yes I am very happy with my purchase!
