This weed killer and lawn fertilizer utilizes WeedGrip™ Technology to grip onto and kill the weeds you see and the ones you don't. It controls over 50 listed weeds, including clover, dandelion, and plantain. In addition, this product feeds to thicken your lawn and crowd out any future weeds. Apply Scotts® Turf Builder® Weed & Feed3 when weeds are actively growing and daytime temperatures are consistently between 60°F and 90°F. Make sure your grass is wet from dew or sprinkling, as this helps particles adhere to weed leaves to produce the best results. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product. For Scotts® broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 3 ½. For Scotts® drop spreaders, use a setting of 5. Do not water your lawn for 24 hours after application or apply if rain is expected within the next 24 hours. Do NOT apply to St. Augustinegrass (including Floratam), Dichondra, Lippia, Carpetgrass, and Bentgrass. One 14.29 lb. bag of Scotts® Turf Builder® Weed & Feed3 covers 5,000 sq. ft.

    I've had my lawn professionally sprayed for years but with the Oklahoma heat and wind this year the weeds went crazy in March, way ahead of time. It worked as well and as quick as advertised . Easy hook up to my hose, easy on/off switch and 10-15 min to spray my yard both front and back. Scott's said it would take up to a week to see progress but my weeds started wilting in 3-5 days.

    March 2025: 3 weeks after peoduct applied and watered as directed, it has not killed any weeds! I bought the same stuff last year in March 2024 and it killed weeds beautifully and greened up the Bermuda grass. The Scott’s product form on Amazons site didn’t work so I couldn’t file for their no-quibble guarantee, but I contacted Amazon customer support and they graciously refunded me for my 2025 purchases.

I have been using this for 30 years and when I first used it I paid zero attention to instructions and was not happy with the results but a friend told me what I was doing wrong and wala it worked. May have to find something else though as over the last few years the weight of the bag has went down and the price has shot up by 50%!

    I got Scotts Turf Builder to green the lawn and kill the weeds, specifically Dandelions. The directions call for wetting the grass first, and then applying, so the pellets can stick. It covered about 5,000 ft as advertised, but by the time I finished, the grass was no longer moist. The Dandelions after a few weeks had withered and are now on their way out, but the grass didn't green up much, which might have partially been due to the grass drying and not adhering to the chemical. The product is on a "caution" label probably due to the 2, 4, D (Amine). If you are sensitive to these types of chemicals, it might be good to shop around.

    I'd give this 0 stars if I could. After reading reviews, it seems there are a lot of people unhappy with this new applicater bottle.

    I have used this LIQUID product in the past with good results. Just had it delivered today. First off, it seemed odd that it only sprayed in a stream. After a few minutes my hose burst off of the bottle, giving me a bath. Checked it out and could not figure out a way to re-attach the piece that came off that connected to the hose. While at it, I looked at the place where it dispensed. It looked like there should have been something there to make it spray.

    Luckily, I still had a little left in my old one, so figured I'd just pour this new one into the old. Now, the old version was very different from this new one. I could not get the cap/spray section off of the new one. I had to resort to using tools to PRY OFF the top!

    After I transfered the liquid to the old bottle, all was well. The sprayer SPRAYED in a fan like way, which applied much better than the stream that came out of the new one.

    If I didn't have the old applicator bottle, I would have been REALLY p***ed!

    Horrible new bottle. Hope the liquid works as well as it used to.
