TO PREFACE: I waited until I had all 3 colors that I ordered to ensure an honest review. I purchased the charcoal grey, blue grouper and black. I am currently 174 pounds at 5ft 6in. I’m 29 and have had 2 kids. I do not exercise like I should so I have a stomach too. Now to the review: These shorts are perfect to help with thigh rub, suck you in a little bit, but not too much to feel like you’re cramping your entire torso. I added photos to show that THESE SHORTS ARE SQUAT PROOF! I am wearing both seamless and cotton briefs or bikini style underwear to show that you can wear underwear other than thongs in these shorts if you wanted. The material quality of these shorts are nice! They are thick, not see through. I am very satisfied with these shorts and plan to purchase more for the summer as these will be my go-to shorts now since there are pockets on either side for my keys and phone, water bottle, what have you. In short: PLEASE BUY THESE SHORTS! You will not regret them! I will be looking into their leggings too.

    I have 5 pairs of these now because they are excellent quality and are comparable to some $50 leggings I have. I rarely order from Amazon or write reviews, but this is a diamond in the rough product.

    The shorts are high-waisted with a good stretch but still firm. You feel properly held in without it being too tight. The sizing was accurate. They are squatproof. The legs don't rid up on me, nor does the waist roll down. It's nice not to have to fuss with my clothing at the gym like I have to with other brands. There is a pocket on each side that can easily hold my phone.

    I also like that they have a 6' inseam. It seems like athletic brands are only selling women's leggings or booty shorts, so it's nice to have an alternative. I have washed these several times with no pilling or issues with the seams. I do line-dry them, though, as I do with all stretchwear.

    My workout shorts have only been Old Navy's 6" PowerSoft shorts for YEARS, but they took away the tall sizes and the pockets, so I've been on the hunt for an alternative.

    Overall, these fit great. I'm 5'10" and usually a size 6/8 tall, so I got the mediums. For HIIT, lifting, and shorter runs, these are fantastic. The one big flaw is the inner seam at the bottom of the side pocket. It's not the smoothest stitching. When I wore these on a 13 mile run with my phone in the pocket, that seam chafed my leg so bad, despite not feeling bouncy on the run. (It was also rainy, so the fact that the material was wet definitely contributed.)

    Otherwise, solid shorts. They didn't roll or ride up at all, the material is comfortable and keeps you cool, and the fit was perfect. I'd definitely buy them again and save them for a sunny day.
