This gives off the perfect amount of light just to see but not enough light to distract. So when I’m watching television or listening to music at night these lamps (I have 2) are the perfect accompaniment.
Also, at the lowest setting this lamp makes for the perfect night light. I went to bed with one on and I woke up 7.5 hours later and it was still chugging along.
On full brightness and you’re sitting close to it you can definitely do reading by one.
These lamps are clean, minimal, simple, practical and aesthetically pleasing. They seem well made and they’re all metal with the exception of the shade which is a frosted plastic.
My only gripe is I wish the light that emanates was a smidge more yellow. But then again I knew this going in so I guess that can’t really count that as a gripe lol.
Lastly, to make this lamp worth it don’t pay more than $20.

This is the perfect little lamp to keep by your computer. It is great for showing details when you need them. I love that it is dimmable. The shade lets out a lot of light so I'm working on covering that a bit. Overall I love it though and it looks pretty cool too.

There are numerous LED table lamps that are on the market. I liked the modern way this lamp look so I tried it. The lamp illuminates light and has dimmer function that is done by pressing and holding the button. I don't see a big need to have a dimmer capability for these types of lf LED lamps because they are not that bright to begin with. The lamp itself if is solid and has weight but I'm not crazy about turning it on. Out of scale from 1- 10 I give it a 9 for looks, 7 for illumination, and 3 for ease of use. If you're just looking for something to glow and not much turning on and off then you might like it.
