Paint smearing and coming off on hands
I really loved these at first. My 6 month old son finds them entraining and they are cute. However, after 2 weeks of mild play (not even every day) the paint is smearing on a couple of them. Aestheticly I really don't care, but I don't want it rubbing off on my son's hands or mouth. I try to keep them away from his mouth the best I can but 6 month olds are a bit slobbery. That being said, this yellow one smeared just by me rubbing my thumb over it, he didn't even have it.

    These eggs are very cute. When you shake them, you hear a sound like a Mexican maraca. They are painted. You can feel a ridge that goes around the middle where the 2 pieces of the egg are connected after the beans, beads or pebbles are put inside to make the sound. My only concern is that they may come apart & a small child or baby could get choked on the beads, pebbles or beans inside. A good price for this set of 6, each one about $2.33 each; the set is $13.99. Cute for birthday party favors, Easter baskets or prizes or just gifts for children.
