    Okay, first things first. This is a very solid value for 5 make up sponges. They are large, soft, and easy to clean. Nice quality overall. Does a decent job with application, I’m not displeased with them.

    Why 4 stars you ask? Let me start this part of the review with a caveat: if you’ve never used the original, beauty blender, you would rate these 5 stars, hands down, no question.

    With that in mind… I, however, have never used anything except the original beauty blender and decided to give these babies a try because for the price, why not?! So, when comparing these to the actual beauty blender (as many who have provided reviews already have) these are not quite as effective. These, although don’t seem to suck up my foundation, I do need to use more than I do with the beauty blender. Not egregiously so, but still more. Similarly, these sponges don’t seem to carry the foundation as far. By contrast, The surface area seems to hold more water- and no, I’m not talking within the sponge, I’m talking lateral surface area. It took me a few tries to figure out exactly how wet/ dry my sponge needed to be in order to not counter act my foundation, ie not blot it off. This is in fairly stark comparison to the beauty blender, which I just wet and squeeze without thought and start dabbing.

    Overall, these are a very nice value for the money. If, however, you expect these to perform exactly like a beauty blender, they do not. Honestly, I would have never guessed that there would be any notable differences between the expensive blender and these, but there truly is. I’ll still use them as they are still nice sponges, but just not as effective as the bb.

    Let me start by saying I love makeup. I have done makeup for weddings and many formal events, which means I am always keeping my eyes peeled for quality products. For that reason, I love these beauty blenders and will repurchase them indefinitely. For the price they just can't be beat. Prior to these sponges I was using the Real Techniques beauty sponges and I liked them, but would find that they would fall apart so soon. These Beakey sponges feel high-end and I am not disappointed. I love to wash my beauty blender before every makeup application, and these beauty blenders have held up so well with no tearing or flaking, even after 2 months (considering that I wash it everyday, this is amazing to me).

    The size of the sponge is very universal. I get my clean beauty blender damp (not wet) and I use it to apply my foundation, concealer, and then set with powder. Works great with cream, liquid, and dry products when sponge is damp!

    A heads up as you are first adjusting to this product: The sponges need a little bit of "breaking into". Before using it the first time, I washed it well under warm/hot water and it helped loosen the sponge. The longer I have used it the more soft it has become. Before breaking it in, however, I noticed no difference in how well the sponge worked or how it applied the makeup, just how the sponge felt.

    My washing technique: I wash under running hot/warm water and rub it into a bar of soap (I use the Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing Bar) and squeeze out the makeup, working in small sections of the sponge at a time. After makeup color is gone, the sponge has that fresh, bounce-back clean feel just as it was new. To apply makeup, I take the clean, wet sponge and squeeze it in a clean cloth until it is just damp. With the sponge damp, it works wonders to achieve flawless, cake-less makeup every time; whether I'm going for a full face or a natural look, it does it all.

    Éponges efficaces pour le fond de teint liquide et l’anti cernes liquide. Un peu moins pour le blush en crème pour moi. Elles sont plus rigides que celles de la marque très connue (testée) et le resultat final après avoir estompé est meilleur. Le teint se fond vraiment bien pareil pour l’anti cernes. Elles n’absorbent pas plus que l’éponge de la marque très connue. Elles semblent être beaucoup plus solides (moins de risque de déchirures). Elles gonflent presque jusqu’à doubler de leur volume initial. Donc si vous cherchez à être précise, je vous conseille d’utiliser la pointe de l’éponge ou carrément d’acheter une éponge plus petite. Attention, comme indiqué dans la notice, il faut bien les laver avant utilisation car odeurs « chimiques » et colorants (?? Qui ne colorent plus après). Je recommande ce produit pour son efficacité à prix attractif.

    Étant adepte des éponges blender pour ma BB crème ou mes fonds de teint avec spf, j’avais besoin d’une nouvelle éponge après avoir déchirée ma précédente.

    Je suis habituée aux beauty blender qui sont parfaites, bien moelleuses qui gonflent très bien après humidification.
    Cependant, le budget éponge est trop important donc j’ai commencé à chercher des dupes.

    J’en ai testé plusieurs « sans marques » qui étaient beaucoup trop dures, pas assez gonflantes et qui absorbait beaucoup trop le produit.

    Je me suis dirigée par hasard chez la marque Essence, dont leur éponge est une merveille qui se rapproche quasi parfaitement à la beauty blender.
    Mon soucis c’est qu’elle s’est abîmée aussi vite que la marque référence et absorbait un peu trop le produit.
    Et comme, la marque n’est pas distribuée partout j’ai eu du mal à en retrouver et j’ai dû me tourner sur une autre alternative, aussi peu cher et facile à trouver.

    J’ai donc vu une vidéo YouTube qui ventait les mérites de ce lot d’éponge et je dois avouer qu’elles sont vraiment pas mal.

    Ce que j’apprécie c’est qu’elles boivent extrêmement peu le produit, le lot est avantageux et permet de tourner avec les éponges.

    La taille est très bien, le produit s’applique extrêmement bien sans taches (après je n’ai pas testé avec du fdt très couvrant).
    Pas de stries ni de manques de produit, deux pompes suffisent très largement vu le peu qu’elles absorbent. A noter qu’elles gonflent peu avec l’eau et je les trouve légèrement dures à mon goût.

    Si vous aimez les beauty blender mais que vous les voulez légèrement plus fermes, vous serrez satisfaites, ce sont de très bons produits.

    Je mets 5 étoiles pour la forme, le rapport qualité prix, même si je les aurai préférées plus moelleuse, question de goût.

    1- package is unlabeled
    2-package is open
    3- sponges have scratches on them
    4-sponge is self it’s hard as a rock ( not easy to wash either)
