Refreshing, Soothing, Gentle
I just received Botanic Tree’s Vitamin C Cleanser and tried for the first time. First impression is that I like the simple design of packaging- visually looks like a nice product. The consistency of the product is nice- not too thick or thin and with a slightly gel-like texture. Lathers up a little with some foam but not much. It has a strange smell, but in a good way in my opinion- almost like a faint hint of mint. It felt just slightly cooling on the skin which was nice. It rinsed off easily and felt good on my sensitive skin. It didn’t leave me feeling dried up after washing off and my skin felt clean without any residue. Words that come to mind during and after use are “refreshing, soothing, gentle.” It doesn’t appear to have any chemical exfoliants but I’m actually happy about that because I already have multiple products for that purpose and I was looking for one without so that I can alternate. I’m excited to continue to use this and also excited to try other Botanic Tree products after my positive experience. I also like that it says it is sulfate and paraben free, not tested on animals, and made in the USA. One thing I don’t care for is the last ingredient is fragrance (Parfum) which I typically try to avoid, but I had no issues with it this time. The price is okay. My daily cleanser that I use now is $6 less and is 2 oz more. I will certainly update my review if I have anything else to add or I feel a need to change my rating.
