Be prepared to manually install the blade. Philips head screwdriver needed.
I specifically purchased this two-pack, as I was nostalgic for the Craftsman brand. R.I.P. Sears. With that being said, my initial delivery was missing a knife. I reached out to the seller and was notified that a replacement would be shipped. After this delivery was made, I looked for blade instructions and there were none to be had. The blades are stored on the handle, and you need to pinch the grips to gain access to the blades. My experience told me to open the knife with a screwdriver and install the blade. These blades are greased, so be careful when installing as the blades are razors. Other than the installation, the blades are standard and ready to use. The metal case is solid, but the area where the blades are stored is a bit awkward. Overall, a great value and well worth the delivery and installation issues.

These are solid utility knives with blade replacement from the front. Grip has a slight ergonomic bend and storage for spare blades.
A two-pack, put one in your tool box and the other in the utility drawer.

I purchased this because the cost was so good. Two for just over $10.00. Craftsman has a lifetime guarantee and this is why I by Craftsman products. I did not give it a five-star rating because installing the blade and reassembling the knife has been the most difficult process of any of the utility knives I currently or have owned. With a sharp new blade, you have to get two opposing flaps clicked into place. The first knife took be about two minutes to install and reassemble and the second took over 10 minutes. I was ready to only use one now and use the other if necessary. Luckily I got both back together and have two great utility knives. I do not look forward to changing the blade, but it has a storage container in the handle that can hold two extra blades. Each knife had two blade to start with.

I am a home mechanic and have been buy exclusively Craftsman tools for over 40 years and neve had an issue until now.
First this came with no instructions. So it took me a half hour how to get the blades in without cutting off my fingers.
Second these are really cheaply made. The package says "Made in USA" but the quality says made in China!
I may stick these in my junk drawer but they do not deserve to be in my tool cabinet!
    Really disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Calidad buena por el precio, a esperar la prueba del tiempo
Reviewed in Mexico on January 6, 2024
