Alyssa Rosenheck is a celebrated interiors and architectural photographer, stylist, author, speaker, cancer survivor, and lifestyle expert.

Known for her crisp and intentional style, Alyssa has carved a space for herself in both the photography and interiors world by pioneering a new business model that elevates her clients’ businesses as well as her own. As the founder of “The New Southern” movement and author of The New Southern Style, Alyssa’s mission is to inspire others to lean into their creativity by highlighting those in and from the South producing work that unites and inspires growth and acceptance within communities.

Following a consuming corporate career and a cancer diagnosis, photography allowed Alyssa to see a new way of doing business, a new way of living, and a new way to connect with others. Alyssa knows firsthand that creativity is a force for unity and purpose, and aims to inspire individuals to live courageously every day and to lean whole-heartedly into their creativity.

Aside from her book and blog, Alyssa’s work appears in the world’s leading publications - Architectural Digest, Elle Décor, Domino, People Magazine, Real Simple, Cosmopolitan, Allure, HGTV Magazine, Southern Living, MyDomaine and House Beautiful.

Named one of five "Pioneering Voices" and "Fresh New Faces", Alyssa was selected for a 2019 national campaign encouraging women to stand in their truth. When not writing, photographing interiors and architecture nationally, volunteering her time and voice to speak to women of all ages, or documenting the work of creatives in the South and beyond, you can find Alyssa in Nashville, TN with her supportive husband Benjamin, and their light filled, four legged Pomeranian, Meyer Lemon.

I had the privilege to work on a project with Alyssa last year and it was truly unforgettable. This book feels like a beautifully wrapped composition of all things that contribute to making Alyssa the incredibly beautiful individual she is inside and out.

Visually the book is stunning, I love how it feels in my hands and it looks gorgeous on my coffee table. The beautifully shot photos pulled me in and I caught myself yourself smiling while getting immersed into the stories, spaces and faces.

The interviews with the New Southern creatives, visionaries, artists, designers and entrepreneurs are engaging and delightful. Being able to connect to them through the eyes of Alyssa allows me feel the love, connection, joy, creativity and enchantment with the New Southern movement. The New Southern focuses on the commonalities that we treasure as human beings such as love, creativity, generosity, hospitality and authenticity, and points out that we have more in common than we ever imagined.

I can feel that Alyssa truly put her heart and soul into this book the same way she does with her photography. It has become a nightly treat to read a new interview every evening, I feel my soul being filled with all the right nutrients while enjoying this book.
