Currently at the market for a robot mopper, this Braava Jet M6 is the best. Right upfront, I recommend not to buy this if you are planning on using it for multiple rooms. (Please press the "Helpful" button if you find my review any helpful.)I bought this M6 with the iRobot Authentic Replacement Parts- Braava jet m Series Washable Wet Mopping Pads to mop my house twice a week for the living room, hallway, bathroom, and kitchen. My house is small and only required about 400 sq ft area for M6 to mop.Pro:1. Setup was quick and simple, with the update on app on my smartphone, connecting it to my WIFI, and integrated easily with the Amazon Echo.2. The mopper clean well, which scheduled to do after my iRobot Roomba 960 finishes vacuuming. It does what is advertised and expected for mopping. It get rid of oil, coffee, and juice stains on my floor that has left for more than 24 hours.3. The amount of water and cleaning solution in the mopper should be enough for a 400 sq ft of cleaning, which is perfectly good for me. I have a little over half left after it cleaned 200 sq ft. (If I had to mop my floor myself, it would have taken probably 5 times more amount of solution and 10 times more water.)4. Preparatory and post-cleanup after the mopper are both simple and easy. Sliding the wet and dry pad onto the mopper and adding the water and solution together is quick, getting it done in less than 2 minutes. There is a button to press in front of the mopper and the pad just falls right off when it is done with cleaning.5. The battery life is actually good and long. Since it just regularly does 200 sq ft, it spends about 30% of its battery.6. I like the Imprint Smart Mapping, which learns and maps out my rooms/areas. The Keep Out Zones offered is great to control in setting which area it should not go.Con:1. The price for the mopper is still really expensive at $400. (Unfortunately there is no current good robot mopper to compare in price with the M6's level.)2. Replacements for the the wet and dry disposable pads can accumulate a costly expense. Sticking with the washable pads is smart, but it is best to go with the authentic iRobot ones because the OEM ones can failed be recognize by the mopper.3. The mopper does not go over small thresholds, that enters into my bathroom and kitchen. I remove the threshold between the living room and the kitchen, hoping this will resolve the issue. It goes right over a feet into the kitchen and then turns around and goes back to the living room. It does this and does not go back fully into the kitchen for a couple of times for every time it cleans going from the living room, so it is not going to mop my kitchen. (See the picture for the map to identify some areas where the M6 does not map. The yellow area is where the mopper can or does not go over to map or clean.) I agree with other reviewers and really dislike this problem to the point of returning the M6 just for this reason alone.4. The only cleaning solution approved by iRobot is theirs. I wish they have other pre-approved cleaning solutions that are recommended. (It will void the warranty of the mopper if you use other cleaning solutions.) A 16 oz bottle of solution for $8 is expensive to me, only enough for two usage only.5. The M6 does not do well in the dark. It scans and maps out the rooms as it cleans, which it will miss some areas in the dark. So if you have it schedule, do it during the day when you get enough sunlight coming into all your rooms.Some thoughts and caution:1. My living room floor is laminated wood, my kitchen floor is waterproof laminated wood, and my bathroom floor is ceramic tiles. The kitchen and bathroom floors do not have any issue with wetness or water. After a couple of wet mopping for the living room laminated floor, the wooden panel edges do bulge out a bit. So it leaves a little tiny lump on the edges. This problem is happens either with any form of mopping that has water.2. While the Braava 240 can handle these small thresholds better, I do not recommend choosing it over the M6. It takes longer for the Braava 240 to mop. It is smaller so it takes more time to mop an area. It does not have any mapping system in order to increase cleaning efficiency. Also the m6 does a better job in cleaning the floor with oil stain compared to the Braava 240.3. The M6 wheels/tires do leave tire marks after its run. I do not think this is a con or iRobot will have a solution to. The plastic tires need to have a good grip onto the wood as it mops. So that will leave marks. If you put a cloth on the tires to avoid the marks as it make its run, then it will not have the grip to mop. I just accept the tire marks and do not care. Your best solution is after the wet mop, you can set the M6 to do a dry-clean run to get rid of the tire marks.Conclusion: I do not recommend the iRobot Braava Jet M6. The price is too high in total for the M6 itself, wet pads, and the cleaning solution for what it lacks in its abilities to mop and clean. Just by the small threshold, it really disable the m6 from successfully entering other rooms. If someone has come up with a solution for this or if your rooms do not have any threshold, it will be the best robot mopper out there.
