First of all, this isn't for toothbrushes with tiny little heads, like the round sonic toothbrushes, or little kid toothbrushes. It puts out a bit more toothpaste than I would normally use, but my kid doesn't seem to mind. Best with regular sized adult toothbrushes.
Most importantly, this thing prevents the dreaded clumps of toothpaste everywhere issue that we have with our child. We love him, but have no idea how he manages to get toothpaste on the ceiling. Also, it's easy to clean if he does get toothpaste everywhere.
You have to push rather hard, but it works well. I had a new tube of crest and it fit perfectly, I had no trouble getting it to sit inside the top. So far the sticky pad has worked fine on the mirror, but we'll see how long that lasts.
I would say it's definitely worth the price. Keep your toothpaste tube lid just in case, because not all tubes will fit. I find it worth it.

Push & hold, don't push multiple times to dispense
In the video, I'm using it for the second time. I've gotten kinda used to it since then so it's more seemless now but it's still a bit finicky at times. To prevent it from drying out and to have it out of my way, I put it in my medicine cabinet which works great. And I can open/close my mirror as needed. ***Users complained about the amount of toothpaste with each push but I push & hold it until I get the desired amount.*** I recommend installing it close to eye level to see it being dispensed if possible. +it does work and is easy to use +easy to set up and it has not fallen (it's been a few weeks) +I like that it requires no batteries +dispenses ok +fairly small +I can easily slide the device up and off the adhesive (only sticky on one side) to replace toothpaste or clean then slide it back on -it's messy at times despite how careful I am because the space to insert the toothbrush is tight -the way the toothpaste is dispensed can leave residual paste that dries up and can come out unevenly -it's inconvenient to clean but since it's just me, I wet my fingernail to clean any left behind toothpaste -not really kid friendly if you're worried about messes bc you'll be cleaning it daily and it'll clog from drying -it's a hassle to get toothpaste tube in...I initially thought it wouldn't fit bc I was trying to screw it in, I instead pushed it in with some wiggling force (luckily my tube was half empty) If they were to address user complaints to upgrade this, this could be a cool handy device but unless you're patient, I would not recommend this. I kind of like it though...
