It's really neat looking, unusual (you don't have to inflate it; the breeze does that!), and the neighbors liked it. Seems to be made well and with care. Two gripes: It runs on three AA batteries - but no timer! So it can burn 24/7 till it doesn't. Especially if you hang it, like over a garage door, you need to climb, and then the battery work can be tricky. (Don't ask me why they used a tiny screw instead of a simple slider case, to undo the case cover and reach the batteries.) You KNOW that tiny screw is gonna disappear in a wink.)
I plan get an additional one next year. Thank you.

First off, the Amazon pictures of this are WAY too flattering. This ghost, while adorable and charming, does not look nearly as high-quality in person. Frankly, it looks kind of cheap - design, materials, everything. I have a creeping, intense suspicion that the product featured in the pictures is not the ACTUAL product being sold to US, the consumers. And that is false advertising. I hate when advertisers and companies do that! It's just wrong.

I paid close to fifty bucks for this thing - roughly 45 bucks. It is barely worth half of that. The materials are cheap and while it looks GOOD, it does not look nearly as good in person. This really should have gone for maybe, at most, 20 bucks. And frankly, I was appalled at not only the basic price-gouging, but the fact that the "warm white" option was EVEN MORE than what I paid (I went with the basic, regular white) is even more insulting, predatory, and greedy. That secondary one I just mentioned was close to 60 BUCKS. Appalling.

Easy to hang, but I feel like the little hanger/string will break easily and I will have to replace it. It just gives off a cheaper vibe than I would have preferred.

It's more cutesy than whimsical, more sweet than spooky. I like this little ghostly guy, but I am disappointed that the quality wasn't better.

If you don't mind overpaying and just like the aesthetic, go for it. Just be aware that the materials are rather cheap and you might be disappointed. Hopefully, I will get at least a few years out of this purchase.

TLDR: Not bad, not amazing, but QUITE overpriced. But cute nonetheless.

I almost never leave reviews, however, this product was very disappointing. When I first removed it from the box and inserted batteries, I thought it looked nice. I hung it from the eave of my house with the idea that it would light up in the dark and that a breeze would make it look spooky. The first problem is the loop attached to the top. It broke after three days. I found it lying on my lawn. I decided to fix it by drilling two holes in the top and using a zip tie or two. The drill bit put a two in hole in the fabric on top. I didn’t care too much because it was on top and not easily viewable. The second issue is that the wiring for the lights has now come apart. It only lights up on one side. I’m not sure I can repair it because the two wires pulled out of one of the light sockets; perhaps I can cut that socket out and splice the wires together.
