    These are so cute right now, I get so many compliments, I'm excited we are going into fall because i have the cutest pants to pair with flannels, sweaters and layers on layers!! The fit is not for everyone, definitely would look cuter on a super skinny girl, but I don’t think I look too bad. For jeans, they are inexpensive but do not feel cheap the fabrics is sturdy, and if you hate when your jeans get the knee buldges in it, then you’ll love these, the cut of the Jean makes it less likely to happen, yay! The pockets are perfect. Whoever makes pants without pockets, bye!

    I am 46 and my daughters, who are very harsh critics on what I wear, said they loved them.

    I’m 50/50 on these jeans. Although they are a near perfect duplicate visually—pocket placement, detailing, stitching—they do not hang the same as the original. Mainly because of 2 key differences: (1) they are high waisted (as opposed to mid-rise) and (2) they are not made from premium Japanese denim, which gives the originals the ‘barrel’ hang. Because the denim is not as rigid and thick, these ‘flop’ and lose the coveted shape.

    That said, they are still well-made for the price point with good denim and offer a cute—albeit more relaxed lighter weight denim—fit.

    On sizing: I’d go true-to-size. On me (5’7”, 140, long torso, size 27, here a 6) the next size up was far too baggy in the thighs (they looked like large dumpy pants); and the size down sat far too high on my waist, losing the ‘slouchy’ look the brilliant Israeli-born designer intended.

    Every body is built differently. I’d give ‘em a shot. Not perfect, but *almost* close enough. And yes, I kept mine, but replaced the high shine silver button with one from a pair of old 501s. :-)
