I do really like the idea behind it. I have to get a specifically shaped eyelash curler and this was the first heated one I saw with that shape. I can’t do the bars on the side cus I ALWAYS pinch my eyelids. So I was excited for this. It’s very easy to navigate. Thought I should go on the highest setting because it’s not hot to the touch at all. I was wrong 😂 the lowest setting is PLENTY hot enough. My only gripe is that I wish it opened wider. The opening is so narrow, it’s hard to get all my lashes in evenly and it’s hard to really see what I’m doing. My outer lashes keep coming out crimped cus I can’t get it in the right spot. So for me, it’s just OK.
UPDATE: I still wish the clamp was bigger cus that part sucks, but once you get the hang of it, the curl I get is to the SKY and it LASTS. I tried it before I went to bed just to test it, the curl was to my eyebrows. I WENT TO SLEEP, woke up and my lashes were STILL curled. I came back and gave it another star because of that. Never seen that from any other curler. If the clamp was more open, I’d tell you do NOT hesitate.

I typically have long, dark eyelashes that curl all by themselves. However, I earlier this year I went through breast cancer treatment that included chemotherapy. My lashes fell out, but came back just as they were. Then I started a "maintenance" medication that seems to have stunted them somehow. They are there, just shorter and not long enough to curl up as they used to. Hence, I bought this product. I previously bought one similar when they first were thinning out due to the chemo, but it broke on the second use. It also heated on the top on bottom of the unit. This one only heats at the bottom. I have been using it for weeks with out a problem and it works! I'm not giving it 5 stars because I have to use it 3-4 times on each side before I see them turn up - after holding it in place firmly, ensuring I see the lashes in the curler, etc. WIth it being heated, I was hoping I wouldn't have to clamp the lashes more than once or twice to ensure the overall integrity/health of my lashes remains. Overall, it works. I included the medical part, as others out there will be looking for products for the same reason!
