Their app is great and we really like the make your own cards as you can record yourself or grandparents or whoever or you can just buy audiobooks and add them to the MYO card . Also yoto has a great variety of cards for all ages . Their subscription is also a cool option. This is such a nice device to keep kids off screens .       I’m so glad our Yoto mini arrived on a rainy day because it kept my kids occupied inside and was on the entire day. My 4 yo said to me “dude, we’re doing Yoto EVERY day!”

      It is so nice that my daughter can listen to music without being dependent on my phone (or me!) It is very easy for her to navigate through different tracks independently with the little picture icons.

      I had a little trouble figuring out how to add our own music to a make-your-own card, but I like the function of being able to record myself reading their favorite stories. When you’re recording it even has a button to add a chime for a page turn, much like the cassettes of my childhood.

      Sound quality is great, especially considering how small it is. It’s also made to withstand littles because it was dropped during a dance party but no harm was done.

      It’s been so useful for easing my daughter’s anxiety in the mornings before school. It keeps her mind occupied, which was one of my hopes. It also had been successful at keeping my high energy kids at the dinner table without it becoming a battle of wills!

      Overall, very glad we purchased.
