So I don't understand why you toddlers we were supposed to be adults keep complaining about everything they do.I fully support audible dot com as well as amazon.com it's better than audiobookstand.com where they over charge you then the stupid books will not play. Then you spend 12 weeks arguing and fighting just to get a refund. I only have one issue with audible. they need to offer more rate plans. They should have a wider selection of credits, more deals, and coupons

    This app is great, it loads fast and there are hundreds, if not thousands, of items to decide from. It's incredibly easy to search for a certain book, and once you download the books they are easily found. There isn't any folders to dig through, all books are right on the home page of the app which i absolutely love as it is convenient. The quality of the books are amazing, they exceeded my expectations. As the narrator is reading the book to you, he/she uses a good tone, and clear diction. If you happen to miss a few words, or just get distracted you can always rewind, fast forward, or pause. Also after you buy one of the books, it stays on your homepage. You don't have a time limit, or extra fees. The app has a huge selection of free books that are actually good. I'm very impressed with this app. Good Job Audible, Inc.!!

    I've been enrolled in Audible's monthly plan for as long as I can remember. Started when working as a community health nurse, with little time to read and driving from house to house to see my patients, I realized I could make good use of travel time and keep up with the books I wanted to read. The improvements made over the years have made the program very user-friendly and flexible! Once purchased, books can be downloaded to any off my devices at the same time...PC, smartphone and tablet..so that i can pick up where i left off no matter which device I use! The choices are limitless and the quality of performances are superb. It IS possible to return a book if not satisfied. I have only tried once, a few months back, which was unsuccessful but, to be fair, if I had taken the time to pursue contact with Audible, I'm sure it would have been resolved. I highly recommend Audible to everyone!

    I love being able to listen to my Audible books whenever and wherever on my phone. The only problem I’ve had lately is with downloads—I’ve run into multiple issues in the past 6 months. I’ve tried all the fixes, but nothing’s worked so far. I also wish there was a way to access a full list of available titles in both the regular and Plus libraries, instead of just getting suggestions from the limited algorithm. That said, it’s still the top audiobook app and works great overall. I’m not a fan of the recent UI updates though, which seem to focus more on the store than your actual library. I’m giving it 4 stars mainly because of a small but annoying issue: when I clear a push notification, the app opens up automatically. It’s pretty irritating.

    I love Audible! I got it and wireless headphones to help me get to sleep at night. I don't have to worry about it interfering with REM sleep, or having to search far to find where I quit hearing it because I set the built in time off timer. I got an external speaker for my tablet and sometimes listen to it on the road. I listen to it on the treadmill, or doing menial ordinary tasks. If I use up all of my credits, there are free books available. I take this opportunity, (as intended, I imagine) to explore different genres, or different authors than I normally would. You, of course, could stick to your everyday type of listens. As an adult, I do not have near the time I used to have to dedicate to book reading, but I can and do multi task. I love it! Why not just watch or listen to a movie? I do sometimes, but books, you know describe everything that is going on. It doesn't matter if you can't stop your activity to go visually check on what is going on. It works like a charm to get my brain off of the issues of the day and help me drift of to sleep. Much more safe than sleeping pills. (I would think. I don't have any personal experience with them). I recommend it to lots of people who have trouble turning off their thoughts and getting to sleep at the end of the day.

    Approfittando della promo che garantiva un mese gratis di ascolto, un buono da €5 su prodotti amazon, ed un prezzo vantaggioso per il primo anno, mi sono deciso a provare questo servizio che da tempo mi incuriosiva.
    Complice la necessità di rilassarmi per il troppo lavoro, ho iniziato ad ascoltare L'Ombra del Vento di Zafon, e mi sono lasciato trasportare dai suoi racconti.
    Per chi è interessato il libro è davvero bello, ma restiamo in tema audible.
    Il servizio è davvero ben fatto, c'è un app dedicata ovviamente che ti permette di ascoltare ovunque ti trovi, puoi usarlo anche da PC, ed è pienamente compatibile con Alexa!
    Ovviamente qualsiasi supporto utilizziate per l'ascolto, vengono mantenuti i salvataggi.
    L'app permette di salvare segnalibri, se magari c'è un punto del libro che vi ha colpito particolarmente e volete trovarlo subito in futuro, ci sono una serie di badge ottenibili attraverso "missioni di lettura", per esempio se leggete spesso di sera otterrete il badge Gufo, che sono carini e rendono più personalizzata la fruizione dell'app.
    Ci sono tanti libri tra cui scegliere, ma con dispiacere devo sottolineare che manca il mio autore preferito Stephen King, e spero davvero che in un futuro non troppo lontano Amazon riesca ad ovviare.
    Diciamo che, rispetto alla versione .com, quella italiana ha ancora bisogno di "espandersi" sia dal punto di vista dell'audience, sia dei contenuti offerti; però credetemi se vi dico che poter "ascoltare" un libro invece di leggerlo è particolarmente rilassante; soprattutto per chi come me sta quasi tutto il giorno davanti al PC per lavoro e non solo, e quindi ha bisogno di riposare la vista.
    Provatela, magari approfittando di qualche promo, come il sottoscritto...non ve ne pentirete e molto probabilmente sarete fortemente tentati di lasciare attivo abbonamento anche a pagamento, fosse anche solo per terminare un libro o una serie (a seconda di quanto siete veloci).
    Io ho deciso di audioleggere la quadrilogia di Zafon, tutto Harry Potter, e Le Cronache del Mondo Emerso di Licia Troisi, oltre a qualche gioellino sparso...per cui manterrò ancora per qualche mese l'abbonamento attivo.
    Se poi magari per Natale ci regalano King... ^_^

    I have the US version of Audible subscription, which is worth the subscription.
    The Canadian Audible subscription is not worth the subscription.
    Added to the negatives of the Candian version, Canadian Amazon Fire (tablet in my case) devices have the audible app installed but deactivated.
    Even if you can circumvent the deactivations on the Canadian Fire devices pre-installed Audible app will not let you switch to my US account.
    Please fix all Amazon devices to allow sign into the US Audible subscription.

    I have found it a great help to "cover" such books.
    Very easy to add system needed to my older 2011 Vauxhall Vivaro with a plug which goes into cigarette lighter switch and pair it to an unused radio frequency and play Audible on mobile.
