    The pillows and tablecloths are truly Beautiful, unfortunately, this is not purple but more of a berry color. It is difficult to explain or capture the true color. It is not burgundy and not mauve or raspberry, maybe a light mulberry. My daughter was thrilled with the color and combo this worked well with her decor, kantha blankets, teal, navy blue, greens, rusty velvets, and antique brass decor. The pillow cover is soft but plush, its a medium-density or nap velvet, not super short. I have not attempted to wash it yet. We used the MIULEE 20x20 Pillow Inserts, Memory Foam Cooling Set, it fit the cover well without overstuffing. Excellent value for the money.
