    I purchased the gold padlock and paperclip chain set and in silver. I absolutely love the color of this gold. It reminds me of the light gold hardware they use on Chanel handbags and wallets. It’s now the end of October and it still has not tarnished or turned silver. I have not taken it off. I sleep with it, shower with it, and I sweat. I live in a tropical climate and it’s very humid all of the time. I once purchased a gold plated bracelet from a reputable jewelry store. It turned silver, almost instantly. I swore I would never buy gold plated ever again. Nothing really holds up in this weather unless it is solid, gold, solid sterling silver or stainless steel. I was going to order another set because I figured this would tarnish, but I’m going to hold off. I definitely recommend this to anyone that is active and doesn’t like taking their jewelry off. If it tarnishes, I will leave an update.
