Hi I received the product today it arrived quickly, I wanted to know something, the product arrived without plastic or anything that shows it is new and when I opened it it looked like this. (Look at the picture). Is it supposed to be like this? I'm afraid someone accidentally used it or got something into the product. Is it supposed to be without plastic on it when you open it?     Well I am shocked this worked. My face would itch all the time and I had hard corse hair. After a month of use my hair is so soft and looks so much healthier and I don’t itch anymore. When I didn’t use this I would itch. I will definitely buy this again. A little goes a long ways but I always use more then I should. The smell is great not over the top. I apply it after the shower and work it in with my fingers then I brush it in. I have not used oil with this product I wanted to see if it worked on its own and it did. I was not disappointed.

    Like a lot of you with beards, I struggle a bit with itch, dandruff, and manageability. This cream addressed all of these. It's not a cure for serious beard dandruff, but it reduced mine to almost nothing. Before, I had to use a prescription shampoo and cream to address it, but it's so negligible now, I don't use them anymore. It smells great (my wife and I both love the smell), it makes my beard much softer to the touch, and it really helps with manageability. I have a wavy-hair beard, not a long, straight hair one and this helps with the renegade hairs that make it look like a neglected yard. I've had my best luck with blow drying my beard to an almost-dry state and then adding the balm while I finish drying it. And for the record, the blow dryer helps a lot with itching, as does the balm. It's really good stuff and I can't imagine you not liking it.

    This product did not work for me at first and I left a bad review. A few months later I decided to use it up before buying a new balm because it smells nice. My beard tamed after a couple of weeks once I figured out how much balm to apply. The vendor instructs that “a little goes a long way.” That was my error as a little did not go a long way for me. My process is that I bathe and towel dry my beard. I then apply three large globs - left, right, and center. I massage balm into beard for about 20 seconds until the balm absorbs completely. Afterwards I have a very tame beard for a few hours. It holds pretty well. My beard does not return to its natural state until the following morning. I have used one full container and my beard is noticeably softer and less frizzy. My beard hair is in general more compact and holds its shape. Even though I have to use quite a bit, it is not expensive. It isn’t great value but it’s definitely not bad value. All in all it gets the job done well and smells very nice, so I will continue to use this product.
