Calling all short torso girls!
I slightly held my breath ordering this dress, due to a lack of reviews. I’m glad I ordered it and ordered another one in the navy blue (still hasn’t arrived… WEEKS later). So, putting it on right out of the package: You’re not going to be sneaking up on anyone in this dress. The material has a kind of rain coat type of feel/sound to it. However, I’ve had the dress on all day at a conference, and it’s loosening up and quieting down a bit. Material is stiff but that’s kind of cool because you can make the collar stand a bit. If you have a long torso, you may wanna think twice. I’m short-torso’d and still find myself pulling it down a bit (by using my hands in the pockets) because it can kinda give a maternity dress feel otherwise. I’m usually all about not using the belt that dresses come with because they’re a bit boring. But after the initial shock of the short torso, I feel like the belt it comes with disguises that feature more. I also have to wear this with a sports bra because the top is absolutely not forgiving or stretchy. There’s no stretch to the dress. All in all, I still feel very feminine in the dress. My favorite part are the sleeves. Kimono look. Feels retro, classic. Lots of compliments. Buttons down all the way.

    Loved this dress! The fabric is thick and substantial. I’ve purchased Amazon dresses in the past where the fabric was thin and the dress seemed flimsy. Not the case here! I also liked that the belt and belt loops were thick and well spaced. As such, the belt feels very secure. I am 5’2, 110 lbs, 32C/D and the small size worked well. It wasn’t too long. I may try to order in a different color and go with the XS just to see the difference, but the size small fits fine!

    I like this dress a lot. I ordered the pink, but it was bubble gum pink and I returned it for the blue. The blue was a nicer color, but the smell was disgusting. I don't know if it was incense or funky cigarettes, or what, but it was sickening and I didn't want to think about where it had been before. I returned it. The other odd design feature was the belt only had 3 loops which looked odd. The dress did fit true to size.

    As at least one other reviewer noted, this is very short in the torso. I am very short-waisted myself and cannot imagine how anyone with a proportionate torso/ leg ratio would make this work.
    I liked it and thought it was decent quality but ultimately am returning it because the red is not red. It is a burnt orange shade. I thought from the photos it might be a darker red but alas, I would not call it red.
