I originally bought this for a client’s child in hopes he could use this to brush sand of his little hands after playing in the sand — However, the bristle bunch is far too stiff and dense for a child’s delicate hands. So I was going to return it, but realized it would be perfect for me to use when I’m brushing my facial hair while trimming up, and also effective for brushing the hair from my grooming tools. Best little brush ever! Glad I was seeking a small gift for a client’s boy, but ended up with a brush I always needed but never found until finding it by “accident”! Awesome!

It's a bit too small for cleaning, but works great as an applicator
This brush size is ideal for a shoe polish applicator. However, it is just too soft, delicate and small for cleaning anything other than small objects or spots. I mean, it CAN do the job, but it's so small that it will be uncomfortable to use for cleaning if you have larger hands. My wife did find it useful as an applicator. She has small hands, but even she said it was not the most comfortable handle to use - especially when wet. The design is classic, and overall, it gets the job done and hopefully it holds up over time.

At one time in the past showing up for a job interview with dusty, scuffed shoes was a cause for rejection as it was a sign of negative personality traits unbecoming the company. This product brings me back to that time period.
A large plastic bag comes with the Groomage label in crisp white letters on a black background. It can double as a permament case for the brush as it has a slide press-lock opening.
Similar to the old-time brushes, it has a smooth body of beech wood, edges are sanded down for comfort. The handle is long enough for any grasp. Groomage is embossed in the handle. A white cord is threaded through the handle for placing on a hook. The brush has a healthy portion of stiff but pliable bristles.
Using the brush presented no problems. It picks up and holds polish as long as you use the recommended amount. My current shoe polish brush has lasted for several years. I believe this one will last as long. I’ve only used the brush for polishing shoes so I cannot comment on other uses. It feels like a quality product and I recommend it.
