Rarely do I leave reviews on products unless they surpass my expectations and this is one of those purchases that certainly did. I’ve had these earrings going on 5 months now and simply wanted to put them to the test to see just how well they would hold up against water exposure. I thought for the price I could always purchase another pair if they didn’t. I put these on the same day I received them and haven’t taken them out since. They still have NOT tarnished!! I took one earring out to take a pic to show how they still have the same gold color just as when I received them. I’m VERY impressed to say the least. They have held up through showering and being in the hot tub with chlorine. I’ll definitely be buying another pair only because I’m not sure just how much longer they will hold up with said continued exposures. The downside, they are small and dainty but perfect for me in my second earlobe hole.

I was so excited to receive these earrings. I haven't worn any in years as I have very sensitive ears. I'm allergic to everything (even silver and so called hypoallergenic) except gold, and was thrilled to find a plethora of earrings with gold posts on Amazon. I thought these were beautiful and at a great price point. I found out why they were so cheap once I tried putting them on. These earrings are the full circle type that you open, spread apart to place the post in the earring hole and then close to "snap" the post into a small hole on the other end of the earring creating the full circle. I placed one and it worked perfectly and when I tried the other it wouldn't stay in place. The earring just kept opening back up, the post wouldn't "snap" into place. Since they aren't the typical earring, you can't just replace the back, this makes them unwearable. They'll just fall open and look silly or slide out of your earring hole.
I will say, they're smaller than I anticipated, but they're pretty to look at. Still, worthless since I can't wear them.
* Apologies all around for the video. I had to use a makeshift phone holder so I had both hands to open the earrings. And my daughter was watching Game of Thrones in the background lol.
