Purchase options and add-ons
Young Dracula loves his fangs. They are pointy. They are sharp! They are a cherished family trait.
So one day, when a fang wiggles…and jiggles…and falls loose, Dracula doesn’t know what to do.
He tries pushing it back in. Then taping it. Then sticking it.
Because a vampire can’t have only one fang!…Right?

5.0 out of 5 stars Losing your first tooth is a fundamental childhood event...
Format: HardcoverVerified Purchaseand that’s no different for Vampires either....
Teeth? They are weird. Especially kids' teeth. Full stop.
(Seriously do NOT google ‘kids teeth x-ray’ unless you’re fully prepared for the nightmares that follow…)
Losing your ‘first tooth’ is a fundamental core memory of *human* childhood, sometimes funny, sometimes gross but always memorable.
Fangs? They are pretty fundamental to a vampire's identity.
So what happens when a growing Vamp loses one?
Well, Kelly Leigh Miller has kindly answered that conundrum in her GORGEOUSLY illustrated picture book ‘I love my Fangs!’.
Kelly has managed to take a universally shared common experience and elevated it to a spooky new realm.
Her rich, illustrative imaginings bring such warmth and whimsy to this rite of passage.
Straight off the bat (no pun intended) this cover, jacket & endpapers are adorable.
Seriously, I cannot get over how gorgeous these characters are!
The family trait gallery wall, Dracula’s bedroom and THOSE pyjamas?! Deceased swoon!
The book, although quite basic in its text (not a negative point I may add) is balanced by such artistically humorous pages (the mirror scene/ the juice box element, the SLIPPERS!) that it's like a multi-age layered spooky comedy treasure hunt which is PERFECT for both groan-ups and lil’ monsters whilst doing re-reads!
A solid 5 out of 5, highly recommend read!
FANGTASTIC!
