The color does match the photo but I did check with my husband to make sure I don’t look like I belong on the freeway construction crew; he says no! I’m very happy with this vest and I’m waiting for the price on the maroon one (WHOOP) to come down. I got a great price on the orange one!     Like that it is cropped and fitted, however the elastic band at the waist cannot be adjusted. It is just slightly cinched which looks great over a tight long sleeved shirt, but looks silly over a loose sweater or sweatshirt. Returned for this reason. Most puffers with waist cinching have an adjustable drawstring to tighten/loosen. This one is sewn in place permanently.

I have worn it over a thin t-shirt or a bulky sweater and it fits perfectly with either.
