Plastic strap broke / ripped off
I love this purse and the way it looks with the plastic brown/gold strap. Unfortunately the cloth did not hold up and the strap ripped from the purse while I had it on my shoulder. I’ve used the purse a few times out to dinner where I wasn’t wearing it on my shoulder much or carrying it. On this particular day, I wore it around NYC for several hours. It was not over packed/heavy. As I was walking (thankfully toward the end of the day) it suddenly ripped where the chain connects with the cloth purse, and fell off my shoulder. The fall caused the chain itself to break in several pieces too. I wouldn’t recommend wearing this purse for long stretches. Definitely don’t overfill it or put anything heavy in it, and do not pull on it (rest hand/arm on it) while wearing it on your shoulder.

    I absolutely love this purse. It is perfect for spring and summer. I love the shorter strap on it. I’m not a fan of the cloth one and will probably never use that strap but I like the chain one gives it a very trendy look.
    It does not look cheap. Looks like a much more expensive than it is so glad I ordered it.
