With no industry standards for childproofing products, we’ve developed our own proprietary testing methods and stringent internal guidelines to ensure our products are held to a high safety standard.

    *Internal testing was performed to compare the strength of various Safety 1st SKUs against the strength capabilities of a 3 year old child. A first mechanical portion of testing was used to evaluate the strength of the product statistically versus established anthropometric data. Then, a second portion of child testing using real children (ages 36-47 months) was used to verify the correlation between mechanical testing and real-use scenarios (as of September 2017).

I like these much better than the smaller single outlet plugs as these are nearly impossible for a little kid to get off themselves, and definitely wouldn’t fit in their mouths if they did. Plus, they look much nicer on the walls. A bit pricey in the quantity we needed, but well worth it.

So it’s only good if your wanting them on outlets you don’t plan on using all the time
