2 issues with this product - first is the list of ingredients on the Amazon. This is exactly how the ingredients are listed: Important information Ingredients Tomatoes What is actually listed on the label (which is not pictured on Amazon) contains olive oil and oregano which I am allergic to. I would not have ordered this had that information been listed. See picture of actual label from one of the cans I received. The ingredients are clearly listed on the cans nutritional lable, but not on the nutritional lable on Amazons site. The other issue - every can was badly dented and the original packaging falling apart. When I took the Pomi box out of the Amazon packaging, it just fell apart. Not a single can was undented. Unfortunately there is no returning this. I understand it is a food product, but the seller should be more responsible when listing ingredients and other important information. Also, the condition these arrived in is absolutely horrible. NO one would purchase this if they were seen - especially for $50. Very dissappointed, and would not recommend purchasing from this seller.

    I am writing this review today based more on the purchase experience then on the product itself. This is the first time I have ever purchased food online, or food through Amazon or Whole Foods.

    The description for this product clearly shows that it’s a 12 pack, however the price seems far too good for it to be a 12 pack. I was out looking for some new pizza sauce to try and upon stumbling upon this product thought what the heck, for that price I’ll give it a try and if I don’t like the sauce I can donate the extra cans to the local food bank. I read through a bunch of the reviews and questions about the product and I see the seller on here saying time and again that it’s for 12 cans when people specifically asked that question. So, I decide to give it a try and I placed an order.

    Now of course, none of the stores near us had this, so we had to drive about 20 minutes south to the nearest store that had it in stock, actually, the only store in the list that came up near us that did have it. I’ve never been to Whole Foods before, it’s not a place we normally shop but we made our way to the store, circled a few times to try to find a parking spot because the parking for this particular store is in a parking garage and my full-size truck doesn’t fit in a parking garage. After parking nearby and walking over I started navigating the process of trying to figure out how to pick up this order. I had selected pick up in store and it was fairly easy to find an employee and ask what I needed to do to get it picked up. I was told it would take about five minutes and I could meet them near the front of the store to receive my order. My wife and I did a little shopping and wandered for a few minutes before heading to the front of the store to wait. In no time a lady approached with a shopping cart with a brown paper bag and asked if I was there to pick up an order. I gave her my name and she said here is your order and handed me the bag. Immediately upon taking the bag it was obvious what was going on, there was one can in the bag. I explained it to the lady that this was incorrect, because the item clearly shows 12 pack and the seller is quoted multiple places I was saying yes you get 12 cans. She looked at my phone and the product description and the seller comments and said she would go retrieve the other cans and be back in a few minutes.

    Upon her return she was accompanied by a second employee who explained that the item listing was an error and that you only got one can. I was welcome to retrieve additional cans from the shelf and exit through check out and purchase them that way, but the item I purchased was only a single can. I also showed her the listing on my phone on Amazon along with the 12 pack and multiple questions and answers about how many cans you received. I was told that she had already seen this and had put in a change request because this was an error and the item will be updated shortly. Today is Sunday, November 7, 2021, let’s see if that happens.

    As I was aware this was a distinct possibility that could transpire, it was not the end of the world and I was not terribly upset. I explained what I had said above in the review about trying it out and donating the extras if I didn’t like it, she said yes she understood. I told her that I really didn’t want the one can because at that price it would be far more expensive than many other options but she told me I should take it anyway. She explained that ultimately the one can would be given to me for free if I went in and explained what I’ve typed here to customer service so I should just take and enjoy the free can.

    Having never done this sort of online grocery shopping before, I can say that I was quite surprised at how many people were in the store that appeared to be there for just this purpose. It seemed like a large percentage of the staff was there doing shopping for takeout bag orders, I guess this is a popular thing.

    At this point I guess I will wait a month or so and see if the item is updated, if not then we will pursue trying to get a 12 can order again, assuming of course the sauce is good. If this item is truly only for one can, Amazon really needs to update the listing accordingly.
