I love the design of this U'Artlines Runner Rug, but the quality is mediocre. These new rugs that are inexpensive and mass produced are nice because there are so many designs, but the quality and craftsmanship suffers greatly. Such is the case with this runner rug.

First, the good stuff: The colors are lovely and the rug itself is very soft. It feels like a cross between polyester and fleece and feels absolutely lovely on bare feet. It's also very thin, so doors have little trouble gliding over it. The back is rubberized and works well on tile, but just ok on wood flooring.

Now, the not so good stuff: The creases don't come out. I've been walking all over this thing for week and they are still there. The white splotches are incredibly noticeable, especially on the dark background, and look like worn spots even when it's brand new. I surmise it would be less so on the beige rug but I got the dark one and they are not going away. This is a mass produced, printed rug - not dyed like higher quality ones.

If you are ok with the white splotches and just want something under your feet, this is fine. I wouldn't recommend it for a show piece in your living room, though.

I really like this runner rug, as it has a more colorful and vibrant design than most. So many are an "oriental rug" design and I like this unique flower design. The rug is soft and has a non slip backing to keep it in place well. It is easy to vacuum and so far is holding up well to vacuuming and general use.
